What information are you searching for. Your Grandmother Clarie Caroline {Sharhan] WHAEN Was born in 1912 - Saskatchewan - You may be able to obtain her Birth Registratrion /Genealogical Registration/Long Form Certificate from the Govt of Sask Vital Statistics Dept. Depending on the requirements of the time - may show - the names of her parents etc. There is a fee. Marriage: The marriage Registration/Genealogical Registration.Long form Certificate - will have some personal infformation about both parties - including names of parents and maiden name of the mother. There is a fee. Death Registration in Ontario: Obtaining the Death registration- will show - date of birth, place of birth, names of parents - including mothers maiden name [ much depends on the knowledge of the informant].Obtain this from the Govt of Ontario - Vital Statistics dept. There is a fee. OBITUARIES - some are excellent -may give a little bit of history etc. Local History Books - Saskatchewan - The families may have submitted family histories/stories to this project. Searching the Online White Pages Directory MyTelus.com http://www.mytelus.com http://www411.ca finds 10 listings of the name in Canada. 2 in Ontario - all the rest in Alberta. I have US Census records which prove that Mathew's wife, Charlotte Jeffreys, emigrated to the US with John and his wife, but no record of what happened to Mathew. I don't know if he died in Ontario, prior to the 1847 emigration, or whether he also relocated in the US with son John and his family, and died here. Again, my thanks to you for your kind follow-up response. -Jody
