Thank you for your reply. My mother's maiden name is Rosanne, but we think she changed it from Rosenblatt and she won't give any information about her biological family. Her younger sister is a half sister and was raised by their biological mother, only my mother was raised in a foster home from a young age. My mother left New York at age 18 and moved to California where my sisters and I were born. My mother and her sister used to correspond until they had a falling out. We've never met the sister, but its our understanding that she still writes our mother from time to time and my mother tears up the letters. Its a long story, but we're determind to find our Aunt. We also have information that we have an entire extended Jewish family in the same town as our Aunt, but we just don't have much information to go on. The city in Canada might be Montreal, but we're not certain. I'm unaware of any parent/sibling finder organizations and I doubt she would be looking for us since she knows where my mother is and our mother knows where she is, but our mother just won't give it up.
