To all:- I was stupid enough to send a memo re a list of children brought from England to Canada, part of the Home or Barnardo Children. Many have been researching these lists -- even the Americans who seemingly are the ?only? listers of QC-ETANGLO-L@rootsweb.com I answered another query as I had the information -- and I do believe the recipient of my e-mail has found her ancestor. However, this unique American/Canadian list, so it seems, does not want to have anything to do with searching for any ancestors, other than THEIR own. Yes, unsubscribed again from QC-ETANGLO-L@rootsweb.com Muriel M. You must remember that this list pertains to people researching Anglo-Protestant roots within the Eastern Townships after the Revolutionary War. Very few of these families left along the border these days. When postings come through concerning French Canadian names, I freqently hear about it. ===================================== From NO NAME this morning:- Re: unsubscribe davidson3542@home.com Date: Thu, 29 Jun 2000 07:06:33 -0700 From: QC-ETANGLO-L-request@rootsweb.com To: davidson3542@home.com ===================================== The listowner will know who is doing this, I know!
