Many thanks, Carol! There are many searching -- I am not one of them, but have become very interested in the children, regardless of which organization brought them to Canada. One item I noticed, the surnames were often changed to that of the family who took the child or children. My answer to that one: Search the census (last one AT PRESENT is 1901), find the family grouping. Then check the church records to see which ones are "natural" children of that family -- the others, regardless of surname change, would be the child or children brought from England. Once we get this election over, Senator Lorna Milne is ready to get going and hopefully her Bill S-15 will be accepted as before, having had Second Reading. Until then, we hope!! Muriel M.
