Dear Ms. Davidson, Thank you for your e-mail in which you requested my support for the release to the National Archives of the post-1901 Canadian Census Records. I have considered this issue very carefully and do support the release of these records. On September 26th I did vote in favour of Jason Kenney's Motion M-160 which states: "That, in the opinion of this House, the government should take all necessary steps to release the 1911 census records once they have been deposited in the National Archives in 2003."
