    1. [CCC] POST 19101 Census
    2. Muriel M. Davidson
    3. Copy: Art Eggleton, MP and Perry Snow [Neither Waif Nor Stray] My father, Edward Lawrence CORNEY was born in St. Catharines, Ont. on 9 April 1914. His mother is honored below by having her on my signature. She arrived in Canada in 1909 at 14 1/2 years old. She came with the Mr. Merry of the Annie MacPherson Home in Stratford, Ont. My Great Grandparents, Laurence Joshua CORNEY, his wife, Jane BOARD CORNEY and family emigrated to either Canada or United States in 1883. Also his brother, Henry William CORNEY, their mother, Christina CORNEY [widow of Henry CORNEY] and Henry W.'s family, wife Elizabeth H REID CORNEY, daughter, Harriet E CORNEY and their son, Lawrence Allan CORNEY born in Toronto in 1885. This is so you know I am able to ask you to please support the POST 1901 Census Release and later ones, so that I may find out what happened to my Great Uncle and his family and my Great Grandmother. Also to trace Elsie Eliza Andrina BERRY and her sister Rose Lucy Eleanor BERRY. Without the release of further Census Reports, I will be unable to trace my immediate family during their stay in Canada. Certain information stops with the 1901 Census, it is like a brick wall and would appreciate pulling out a brick or two. Also on behalf of the thousands of unclaimed British Home Children that came to Canada, please release this information so that the descendants can claim them and not leave them unclaimed at the National Archives. PLEASE VOTE YES for the release of the POST 1901 Census and future census at the appropriate time. Thank you on behalf of the unclaimed British Home Children who have no voice for reading this email. Very truly yours, Patricia Corney Quakertown, PA USA Granddaughter of Elsie Eliza A. BERRY, BHC IOWFHS #1334 bluroc@worldnet.att.net
