Mr. John Manley is reading the Report of the Expert Panel, which he has had since June 30, 2000 - no explanation for the delay. Gordon Watts received this news from two different sources. Some of us, including myself, have been blowing off steam and frustration at John Manley -- possibly this helped steer him toward the report. Now that he is reading it, we can be less agitative, but gentle persistence must be maintained. YOU will find more can be accomplished if each one writes to his/her own Member of Parliament - gentle reminder to Manley. Should the symbols not show either a GOLD tick or RED X, ask "Why not?" You have every right to know, as a taxpayer -- but be subtle -- we do not want John Manley to put the report aside. E-mails are fine -- but are often counted, not read.
