Greetings All Due to the problems that Rootsweb had earlier this month with the server on which the CCC list resides you will be aware that a number of messages will be coming through that are dated some time ago. Also, individual messages and Digest will not necessarily come through in the order in which they were posted. This is a situation that could continue for another week or more. It appears that current messages are coming through in a timely manner. When tempted to respond to a message posted to the CCC list, please check the date of posting for that message. If the date is not current chances are there has already been a response to it made by someone else. Do not respond at this time to posts asking if the list is on line or that people have not been receiving messages. Mail Lists: 2004-11-20 All visitors please read this message. LISTS5: The Neverending Story? Mail delivery continues from LISTS5, though slowly, and from my rough check we are probably about half way. There are numerous queue sweeps running, and regularly being monitored. Some ISPs that seem to be deferring LISTS5 mail delivery (in whole or in part) include INREACH.COM, XTRA.CO.NZ, TELIS.ORG, XCELCO.ON.CA. Older message Mail delivery to ISPs from our reconciled list server (lists5) is progressing slowly. We are seeing numerous ISPs deferring our delivery of the email to them, and not necessarily quickly, hence it is affecting all mail delivery.
