Many thanks for this Jacqui. I had been expecting something about this but thought it would be a further extension of Bruce Phillips' term. Perhaps the kitchen has gotten too warm and he decided he did not want another extension. In reality though, there may be regulatory considerations that prevent a further extension of his term. I did a search and at www.newswire.ca/government/federal do a search of privacy and you will find the news release that has George Radwanski as our interm Commissioner until Parliment sits and they appoint a new guy.
