Hello list, I am currently collecting the names of Middlemore Home Children. I also try to enter in the file when they arrived and on what ship. I also would like to enter where they were sent to live upon arrival here in Canada. I have had a wonderful response from the NB mail list. I have now over 1800 names and growing. The purpose of this list is to assist families in their pursuit of information on these children. With some of the replies, I have found that several children came over with siblings. I may have one name in my list but families are helping to fill in others as well. Strangely enough, I have had contact with two separate families unknown to each other prior to their searching. Now they are corresponding with each other. This is what helps families learn more about their own ancestors.
