The Alberta Family Histories Society, the Alberta Genealogy Society and the Jewish Genealogy Society (southern Alberta) are in the middle of sending joint letters to all the MPs. The Canadian Alliance have discussed Bill S-13 in caucus recently. Their point man will be Jason Kenny. He has my phone number if something unexpected comes up. Stephen Harper is my MP. His constituency office is 2 blocks from my house. The letters Muriel is getting back from Alliance MPs are consistent about supporting the amendments we want to Bill S-13. I wish they were clearer about the opt in/opt out nonsense for future censuses, but I think they agree with us on that, too.
