To all:- So far, only one province and territory have all Members of Parliament in agreement with census release -- Nova Scotia and Yukon. Some of the dates are back in 2001 -- much has happened since then and we look forward to a NEW census bill, one which reflects OUR wishes and desires -- no restrictions, transfer to National Archives, no longer than 92 years. The notes to the Members of Parliament need not be long, and hopefully his/her secretary will not keep the e-mail. Please send a copy of any messages re above to both Gordon and myself -- use BCC, please. All represent different parts of Canada -- this includes our American committee members. Check the message board under names of MPs http://www.globalgenealogy.com/Census/Index6.htm We do not know what will be happening, so let's be prepared with petitions and lots of signatures, please -- both from Canada and other parts of the world.
