In addition -- the 1911 census was SUPPOSED to be released June 1, 2003. Bill S-13 was not even considered a "priority" item -- only money matters. Senator Lorna Milne was "invited" to sponsor Bill S-13, then the Senatorial politicians (appointees) made certain it was passed with too many restrictions. Frankly, I see no hope for this bill in the House of Commons -- even if amendments are made, Bill S-13 would have to go back to the Senate for "approval" -- why are our elected Members of Parliament not able to finalize matters? Do we have to wait ANOTHER long period for census release, which happened to the 1906 census -- released January 24, 2003 -- should have been 1998.
