    3. Many thanks, Laura!! For many who do not recognize the name, check Saskatchewan http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~downhome/committee.html We are not confined only to CENSUS -- but Radwanski could have been the Privacy Commissioner who has told everyone there was an UNFINDABLE LAW -- Should any one else like to post their "two cents worth" to their local papers, please copy us in. Hope he enjoyed the expensive stopover in Hawaii -- nine days!! Muriel ----- Original Message ----- I have written to the Sun and to the Star-Phoenix (which had a little write-up in it ). Laura Van Loon Letter to the Editor of the Sun: You may publish this comment if you wish. This Saskatoon reader has to comment on the information about Federal Privacy Commissioner George Radwanski by Greg Weston (June 14 publication). It is no wonder that the new study by Leger Marketing, The Perception of Canadians with Regard to Various Professions, shows that Canadians continue to hold firefighters at 98% and nurses at 96% among the most trusted people in society whereas the lowest level of trust goes to car salespeople at 23% and politicians at 18%. Laura Van Loon, RN 914 6th Street East, Saskatoon, SK S7H 1C9 Phone# 306 934-0435 or 306-931-6790 Letter to the Editor, Star-Phoenix It is no wonder that when I reread the results of the 2003 study by Leger Marketing, The Perception of Canadians with Regard to Various Professions and your (June 14th) article "Radwanski 'misled' MPs, committee says" in today's newspaper, that the least trust we have as Canadians is for politicians (18%). When reading the unprecedented report to the Commons about George Radwanski, it is absolutely unacceptable that the Federally appointed Privacy Commissioner thinks he can defend, among accusations such as altered official government documents and misspent travel expenses for himself and his assistant. For your reader's information, Canadians continue to hold nurses among the most trusted people in society. The study shows that four health and safety related professions rank among the top five: firefighters (98%); nurses (96%); farmers (93%); doctors (92%); police officers(88%). Among the least trusted professions are car salespeople (23%) and politicians (18%).
