An explanation is in order here. Stella is not blacklisted by the CCC list, nor are the others mentioned. Messages to them from the CCC list have been bounced because of the use of spam filters by their ISP. The reason for the messages being blocked could be as simple as it containing a single word that the filter is set up to reject. The use of spam filters by individuals and various ISPs create all kinds of problems -- particularly for mail lists to which people have subscribed. In many cases IP addresses are automatically added to the filter because the filter itself, or the administrator of it do so arbitrarily without being aware that much of what they block is wanted by those to whom it is addressed. In some instances, bounce messages are directed to the original poster rather than to me as list administrator. There is nothing that I, as list administrator, or you as a poster of a message to the list, can do about this. The only person that can do anything about it is the person to whom the blocked messages are sent. They must complain to their ISP about the blocked messages. Continued blocked messages and the resultant bounce messages create a great deal of unnecessary work for a list administrator. Anyone whose messages from the CCC list are constantly blocked by one of these filters will be removed from the list of subscribers. This is done automatically by parameters set up in the mail list utilities. As much as spam is annoying to everyone, I would encourage everyone to resist the urge to use spam filters.
