    3. The British Home Children's site starts with this paragraph:- Welcome to the British Home Children Website – a place devoted to providing research resources for the estimated 4 million Canadian descendants who search for their potential 20 million British relatives. The last time the site was worked on was Dec. 9, 2000 -- it is easy to see the combination of Perry Snow's and Bryan Keddy's magical work -- there is so much to read and so many names of those still unfound. Go to:- http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~britishhomechildren Senator Lorna Milne has offered to be a "VOICE" for the BHC when she presents her Private Member's Bill -- but petitions are desired to back this up. Senator Milne will speak about the history of the BHC and I have sent her tons of information, which her husband has printed. I suggest one member have all census petitions sent to him or her, whether for the House of Commons (Canadian only) or for the Senate (both Canadian and Non-Canadian). Addresses are on petitions. It is requested NO WORDING be changed as this voids the petition. We do not know how picky the scrutineers are!! Download from http://www.globalgenealogy.com/census/petition.htm You will find these are in PDF format -- I have attachments if your computer cannot be friendly with Adobe Acrobat -- it really is great! Looking forward to fat envelopes -- the House of Commons and the Senate resumes on January 29, 2001 -- and petitions are arriving every day! Please -- let your petition be the next one!! Muriel M.
