There is a lot of behind-the-scenes lobbying against it, so it is going to be interesting to see if it survives. I will keep you posted. Although John Bryden is a member of the Liberal party, after watching dialogue in the House of Commons on Cpac, it seems other members are against the passage of the Access to Information Bill C-206. Safe passage of this bill would assist with census records release -- are they afraid? Let us all bombard our Members of Parliament and see if (1) He/she agrees to census records release (2) He/she agrees to adoption of the Access to Information updates. Muriel M.
