Download petitions -- use Non Resident and mail to my address http://www.globalgenealogy.com.com/Census/index.htm On a personal note, do any readers have family history about John Davis, a merchant shipper, or his wife, Lady Jane MacKenzie? They were the parents of my maternal gr.grandfather, James MacKenzie Davis -- who migrated to my hometown, Liverpool, Nova Scotia. I would dearly love to learn more about Lady Jane -- there is absolutely no information in DeBrett's Peerage and other sources -- believe me, the names were carried on as middle names for two of my aunts.
