    1. [CCC-L] FIVE in Newfoundland have not answered........#3

    3. To all: Due to requests, I am attempting to learn where Canadians need to do some work IF family researchers WANT post-1901 census records released. We all know Newfoundland is unique -- their census is open up to 1935, at least -- I have visited the sites many times and applaud the volunteers. Data posted is all that is necessary for any family search -- names, ages, relationships, etc. However, all this could change -- I do not believe the posted census could be removed, as Newfoundland only became a province in 1949. In contrast, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan have NEVER had a Canadian census record released -- the 1906 was a special one that should have been released in 1998. There are FIVE Liberal Members who have not answered their constituents and forget the Scoreboard will be published before the next election. Family research is popular in Newfoundland -- the memos are terrific. Go to: http://www.globalgenealogy.com/census/index6.htm A round of applause for NORMAN DOYLE and LOYOLA HEARN, of the St. John's East and West ridings respectively -- they are in PC Party. Bombard YOUR constituent with letters, phone calls, whatever -- YOU need answers before THEY come asking for your vote!!!!! Should you receive an answer, please forward to either Gordon Watts <gordon_watts@telus.net> or Muriel M. Davidson <davidson3542@home.com> 25 Crestview Avenue, Brampton, Ontario L6W 2R8 THE MYTHS OF CENSUS by Gordon Watts is printable - should be read http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Farm/7843/poll.html
