    1. [CCC-L] A Poem
    2. Muriel M. Davidson
    3. Many thanks, Beverly -- I sincerely hope we find an answer. The poem is beautiful -- reflects our thoughts! Muriel <davidson3542@home.com> =============================== I came across a poem my mom had written out, I do not know who wrote it. She wrote some poetry as well but I would hesitate to say she wrote this because I don't know. I thought I would share it because it seems to fit genealogy and maybe some one may know who wrote it. This is my Tree This is my tree and it branches one by one This is my tree, I know it can survive And through the years it grew so tall It touched the sky and did escape the hand of man This is my tree, I know it can survive This is my rock, I lied upon it yesterday Tis is my rock, I know it can survive And through the years it grew so smooth The touch of it , the severed hand, the scheme This is my rock, I know it can survive This is my stream, I followed it so faithfully This is my stream, I know it can survive And throught the years it seemed to flow so aimlessly And gentlyturned and took me home This is my stream, I know it can survive This is my land, I reach out and I prayed for her This is my land, I know it can survive And through the years she trembled on sound of guns And was so ravaged by machines And still she stands, she can, she can survive This is my child, she reaches for bitter treat This is my child, I hpe she can survive And golden years may scar her heart and soul on earth Then she will smile and go her own way This is my child, I know she can survive. ==== CAN-SASKATCHEWAN Mailing List ==== Thank you for sharing your information.
