    3. To all:- The latest census update of July 25, 2000 showed the following:- FOR / YES-----------------87 AGAINST/NO---------- 6 NON-COMMITAL----52 NO RESPONSE-------156 ------------------------------------------- The basis of all family research and genealogy are census records. Of the 156 who have not bothered to answer even their constituents, 52 of these are in the Province of Ontario, 51 are Liberal Party. One Member sits as an Independent -- possibly on leave of absence at present -- John Nunziata. Clinging to the cute little pieces of YES/NO fence are 25 Liberals many call them "fence-sitters" -- SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS TO WRITE TO THESE ELECTED MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT. Sporting GOLD ticks, meaning YES for SUPPORT, are 22 Liberals and 1 Progressive-Conservative. David Pratt, Julian Reed and Janko Peric have large RED Xs for NO. YOU may check my figures by going to: http://www.globalgenealogy.com/census/index6.htm The Scoreboard shows how the elected Members of Parliament feel about SUPPORT on any legislation change and post-1901 census records release to National Archives - and to us, in 2003. The Members of Parliament represent at least 7.5 million family researchers with constituents also VOTERS -- the scoreboard WILLl be published before the next federal election, we promise. Should any constituent obtain an answer from his/her Member of Parliament, please forward to:- Muriel M.
