    1. [CCC-L] My Internet Gave Me A Vacation!!!
    2. Muriel M. Davidson
    3. To all:- My internet server, the @Home one, was on vacation today -- due to heavy rains, bad storms and anything else that could happen! The Member of Parliament Scoreboard has been updated again, as of today -- and to keep Gordon Watts busy, I received two YES answers this evening. There are 301 Members of Parliament, so I figure we MUST have at least 152 POSITIVE replies and hopefully the Members of Parliament will be allowed to vote as they have told us. With 152 voting YES for release, family researchers could breath a long-awaited sigh of relief. As of today, the scoreboard figures are: http://www.globalgenealogy.com/census/index6.htm FOR / YES ......... 81 X / NO ............... 6 Undecided....... 53 No Reply ...........161 Please concentrate on the last two -- the ones with the RED X mess up the scorebord, but that is their belief -- however incorrect it may be. There will be some political party changes coming -- Gordon Watts will make these changes when listed -- in the meantime, PLEASE DO NOT MENTION POLITICS. There could be other changes coming, as well. Points to mention:- THE MYTHS OF CENSUS by Gordon Watts, printable from http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Farm/7843/poll.html [Just noticed the counter at this site has reached 16,379] Also from this URL, is Lois Sparling's MEMORANDUM OF LAW, written especially for prairie provinces -- census should have been open 1998. The Member of Parliament Scoreboard is Provincial, will be published prior to the next federal election. I made one error in a recent memo -- Roz Griston is writing to Quebec Members of Parliament who are not members of the Bloc Quebecois. There have been queries re Americans/non-Canadians assisting -- the more the merrier!!! These petitions can only be used in the Senate, downloadable: http://www. globalgenealogy.com/census/petition.htm Please do not MIX Canadian and Non-Canadian addresses. Senator Lorna Milne would not mind -- but there is a committee to scrutinize every scrap of paper -- we would not want a petition in File 13!!! When writing to a Member of Parliament, either give your complete address or your phone number and riding --- the MP wants to be certain the e-mail is not a prank memo. Should anyone wish any assistance, we might be busy, but we can always find time to assist helpers and writers. Muriel M. Davidson <davidson3542@home.com> Brampton, Ontario Canadian Census Committee

    3. Hi Muriel, I was wondering, when you post the FOR/YES 81 if in the future perhaps you could break it down into the individual parties i.e. Liberals then the opposition parties.
