According to the Expert Panel, there seems to be no problem with release of census between 1911 and 1918, but the need is to have an AUTOMATIC release of Canadian census records to National Archives -- at present 92 years after taking of the census. My sincere hope, with the re-presentation of Private Member's Bills in both the Senate and the House of Commons, the 1906 for the prairie provinces, 1911 and later ones would be released -- this would mean a change in the number of years following taking of census. If one has not checked lately, the British Home Children list is a pleasure to check, thanks to Bryan Keddy and Perry Snow.
