Now that am old enough and no longer intimidated by the internet or posters......want to share something with all of you...:) About 10-15 years ago, a gal from the above surname and I met up on the internet and she was newly landed into Canada's east coast.....so we discussed some and had to let her know that surname had landed here much further back then what it is she was working on, but we still haven't figured out how she relates to me but am also of the surname BREMNER as well....:) In the meantime, there was a cousin who was in California who visited Alberta over the years and always was looking for his aunt Mary......anyways to make a long long story short.......wasn't looking that far south when originally on the net.....so knowing he was elderly, called him and we discussed together.....was he ever pleased when he realized his aunt Mary was in fact my great grand mother.....while discussing with him, he had a slight state side accent to his words while am sure being as am bilingual must of sounded a wee bit odd to him as well, but we talked and discussed and was able to explain how it was he'd been so close to finding her children but had been steered south within the province while her children were north of where it was he kept looking.....anyways, he's since passed away and haven't heard from any of his children......his surname was McINTYRE. Since, there is a McIntyre on the news and every time hear him, wonder if per chance he might not be one of his.....but you know how we've only all have 24 hrs in our days, well as yet haven't taken the time to call him and ask if per chance he may not be related to me......one day, hopefully will do so, but in the meantime..... It's impossible to do everyone's genealogy, so am hoping far more within the many surnames it is am from, are all being worked on by another and another and another of the cousins, cause at least that way, for more will eventually know more then we all did when we first found each other on the net with email but not knowing who else had one? an address am meaning? since then have had to change mine 5 times due to changes in internet providers, systems....etc..... Remember sitting here thinking, now what good is that to me? (big grin) nowadays, it's mmmmm, that address should recognize, but have met so many, starting to not remember who is who? That's the beauty of all of this way of being able to touch and find each other......done in a discuss mode, works great, done in a debate mode.....never respond, just move on, cause sure don't have time to veer from what it is started many many years ago now!....:) Am looking forward to continuing this late fall as right now as you will all understand, this plate in front of me is just to darn full! Am working at make some r00m!.....:))) Keep Well, Keep Working Together, Keep Smiling and Laughing cause it doesn't cost a thing and often makes me smile and am sure it does everyone who needs a break and see's the humongous strides and links being made by so many not within the lines one often is working, but those which it is that are inclusive within all of the surnamed family links?
