While looking for something else, stumbled onto this site. It is interesting to note that the last Home Children were sent to Australia in 1967! Had no idea the program existed after the 1940's. For anyone interested in how children were used, this timeline is worth a look. It would appear that some children were kidnapped in the 1600's and shipped to the colonies in N.
