Off topic: With both our countries shortly facing elections, thought some of the women on our list might be interested in the history of women getting the vote. In my Province of Manitoba we had a rather famous suffragette in Nellie McClung and the women in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta were the first to gain the vote in Canada.
