Recently read a novel about the New Bedford Whaling Industry. Finally got around to researching some sites and a couple may be interest to some on the list. Not sure about whalers, but many of my Nova Scotia kin were seamen. My great grandmother lost a brother and two nephews on the same ship during an Atlantic Storm in late 1800's. Elsie in W.
