    2. Hi Chris: Have you looked at this site? http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/genealogy/index-e.html Just enter the surname and fool around with it a bit. References to Chipman papers usually indicate Loyalist leanings. Some of the immigration hits give the name of the ship, etc. Shetland sheep! Wow, my paternal G. Grandfather was from Shetland. Found a cousin there and we keep in touch.
