    1. [CAN-USA-MIG] : Re: CAN-USA - Parker
    2. Hi Paulette: Talk about a weird coincidence! My cousin who is also tracing the Sibley line that landed in Halifax aboard the Beauforte in 1749, just sent me an email with all sorts of sites for the Parker name. Most of these Parkers were in the U.S. I saved the email and still haven't had time to examine the sites carefully - she said it might take 6 hours to do them. Please contact me off-line and I will sent you a copy of the email from her. Contact me at [email protected] My G. Aunt Elizabeth Hird married a chap called William Parker, but no idea where he came from. They were early settlers in Saskatchewan but may have came from Chapman Township in Ontario, Canada as the Hird family spent some time in that area after leaving Scotland. You are so lucky to have some of your grandfather's carved works and must cherish them. I have a photo of an old chair that one of my ancestors made from driftwood picked up on the shores of Shetland. It is in the possession of a cousin living in Scalloway, Shetland.
