Those records are available on film at the Library of Michigan plus from each county courthouse. They also are available from the State of Michigan, but that tends to be quite a bit more expensive. You already know that Au Sable is in Iosco County. I Googled Iosco County Michigan and came up with loads of information, including: Nancy J. Huebel Iosco County Clerk [email protected] Office Hours and Court Services: Monday-Friday: 9:00 am-5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday: Closed 422 W. Lake Street, P.O. Additionally, there is always RAOGK - Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness. http://www.raogk.org/ You might be able to find a volunteer to do your legwork for you in Iosco County or at the Library of Michigan. Happy hunting.
