Subject: Bombardier I saw this in the Times Argus newspaper in Barre, VT and thought someone had asked about the name and would post part of artcle s they could inquire.  There are many French and Italian names in Barre, VT.  BARRE – If perception is reality, the only thing missing in Barre is the bars – and not the kind where you can sit down and order a drink. Good heavens~~ When I was a kid living in Massachusetts, it was a big thing on Sunday afternoon to take a little "drive" with the grandparents. One of the places we drove thru was Barre, VT. Never knew it had so many "loose" parolees and offenders there!!!!! You'd think my grandparents or aunts would have known about it, but I never heard it mentioned.
