I have to thank everyone who tried to help me this last day. Because of your generosity, and that of others on line, we have found the lost son. Satch42179 says: His name turned out to be Thomas Daniel Brown, born 30 August 1884, and baptised 5 June 1887. His 2 sisters were also baptised the same day, at Notre Dame de Grace, Hull, Quebec. Because of the name, I went immediately to www.familysearch.com's pilot site, and found his birth information. Life is wonderful, and so are all of you! This is a puzzle that the family was unable to solve for years. Thanks to your help and searching, we now know his name. And he will no longer go as an unknown factor. We know he was the first born, and the family lore says he died about age 10, in AuSable, Michigan.
