I checked out the timeline for Canada and noted that naturalization records began in 1828. Is there somewhere I can access those records? My Eager/Ager/Agar ancestors arrived in Canada from Vermont about 1832 and lived in Hastings Co., Ontario until around 1900 when my ggrandparents came to Nebraska (perhaps via New York). Thanks for your help. Gloria

Thanks for the replies to my message on the naturalization records. I wish I could afford membership to all the wonderful research websites out there, but right now I have to look for the freebies. Thanks, again. Gloria
