Know that earlier on there was the Nova Scotia Colony, but very vague in understanding what the Maritimes were called. Sad, as a Canadian seem to know very little about the Maritimes in spite of the fact some of my ancestors settled in Halifax and other were early Acadians (expelled). Is there an on-line source giving a short history of the Martimes - i.e. nuts and bolts that is not too boring. Even a time-line site for the Martimes would be helpful and will go and see if Google will supply one.
