I am looking for information on the following ships the my William Bailey family came from Ireland to the USA on. The first ship was called the "Bluenose" and was sailing for Great Britain. It came from Ireland to St. John, NB, Canada in 1827. The William Bailey family left St. John, NB, Canada and sailed to the port of New York aboard the "Brigatine Hartford", Capt. Thomas Pearce, Commanding. They got into the port of NY on 19 Aug. 1828. I do not know what they did in St. Johns betweem ships, but would like to find out.
