Parents were not named on marriage record with Hnnah Kemply in 1832. In 1842 census, in Farnham (QC), James is "14 years in Canada, from Scotland". Therefore, should have arrived in 1828 (or 1827-29...). BUT, where from ? and how ? ANY help welcome. .
