I have a family (John and Hannah Walker and family) that immigrated from Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England to Lambton County Ontario in 1832. The only infomation on the particulars of the trip is that they arrived in Ontario at Port Stanley with the remaining short portion of the trip by land. My questions are: 1. What would be the most logical port of departure from England if living in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk in this time period 2. Where would the logical port of entry be into North America to board a Great Lakes boat to Port Stanley, Ontario, again in the 1832 time frame. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Jerry
