    3. Hi, Like Diana, I have a relative that is a brick wall. His name is Benjamin Curran and possibly has brothers named James and William. He arrived in Canada about 1826 from somewhere in Ireland and he died somewhere in Canada around 1850+. The facts we have are a copy of his marriage record in 1827 in Granby and other records from the same church, baptismal records for 7 of his children from the internet, he was a protestant as all these records are from protestant churches. The baptismal records say that he was a schoolmaster in Godmanchester, Quebec. We have a copy of the 1842 census for Hinchinbrooke which says he was born in Ireland and had been in the province 16 years. His wife and some of the children appear on the 1856 census for Allamakee Co., IA where she is a widow. Can anyone help in finding where in Ireland he came from and when and where he died. Thank you very much, Elaine
