Hi everyone, Tomorrow I leave for a one week holiday (long overdue). I'm really looking forward to my break, but will miss the list! While I'm gone, Sue Swiggum, co-webmaster of http://www.theshipslist.com and listowner of TheShipsList mailing list has kindly agreed to run two of my ships list for me. Sue is a busy woman as well as an immigration/shipping/passenger list expert, and I'm very grateful she has agreed to give up her time to monitor the lists. Sue has full powers to unsub or moderate anyone who isn't behaving, so please listen if she has to speak up. I doubt that will happen as all of us here on the list are very well behaved! :-) Please don't send Sue questions about technical things re the list - wait til I get back (Sept. 16th). I don't want to overuse her generousity as I may need her help another time. :-) Oh, and for tips re using the lists (subbing, unsubbing, posting, etc) please see http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/Immigration/US-SHIPSLISTS- PRE1820.html for those on US-SHIPSLISTS-PRE1820 If the 2-line URL won't work for you, go to http://olivetreegenealogy.com/articles/immusapre1820.shtml http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/CAN/CAN-SHIPSLISTS- PRE1865.html for those on CAN-SHIPSLISTS-PRE1865 If the 2-line URL won't work for you, go to http://olivetreegenealogy.com/articles/immcanpre1865.shtml Have fun and find lots of ancestors while I'm gone!
