Doreen, Thanks for sending info on this site. I found a copy of a handbook given immigrates dated the exact year my gggrandparents travelled from England to Canada. It is facinating! Also, disputes my mother's (must keep in mind she was part Irish and full of Blarney!) that they travelled down the St Lawrence seaway by open canoe with an Indian guide.
