11/16/2004L. HELENE GAUDREAU BEEBE PLAIN, PQ - L. Helene Gaudreau, 83, of Beebe Plain passed away in Derby, Vt., on Monday, Nov. 15, 2004. She was born in St. Joseph de Beauce, PQ, on Dec. 19, 1920, the daughter of Joseph and Jeanne Poulin. On Oct. 28, 1944, she married Rene Gaudreau in Ste. Therese de l"Enfant Jesus in Beebe, PQ. Helene is survived by her husband, Rene of Beebe Plain; her children, the Rev. Bernard E. Gaudreau of Stowe, Vt., Michel J. Gaudreau of Derby, Claire M. Muren and her husband, Michael of Bakersfield, Vt., Odile M. Steel and her husabnd Alan of Greenbrae, Calif., and Lucie A. Emerson and her husband David of Troy, Vt.; her grandchildren, Gregory Gaudreau, Christopher Gaudreau, Sarah Gaudreau, Morgan Muren, Brock Hayes and Bryant Hayes; and 13 siblings. Friends may call at the the CurtisBritch-ConverseRushford Funeral Home, Darling Hill Road, Newport (formerly Sias Ave.) on Wednesday, Nov. 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Nov. 18, in St. Edward Catholic Church in Derby Line, Vt. at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Bernard Gaudreau. Interment will follow in St. Edward's Cemetery in Derby Line.
