    3. EDOUARD G. HEROUX - Central Falls 01:00 AM EDT on Sunday, October 31, 2004 EDOUARD G. HEROUX, 90, of Fales Street, a retired employee of the former Corning Glass Works, died Friday at home. He was the husband of Claire (Patenaude) Heroux. They had been married for 64 years. Born in Lowell, Mass., a son of the late Fortunat and Anysie (Rousseau) Heroux, he had lived in Central Falls for 77 years. Mr. Heroux had worked at Corning Glass Works for 20 years before retiring in 1978, and had previously been employed at the former Weybosset Textile, New England Transportation, and Pawtucket Spinning Ring. He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church, and a member of its Senior Citizens Group and the St. Matthew Golden Agers. For 16 years he had been the president of the Notre Dame Men's Club, and the Notre Dame Seniors. He had been an altar server at Notre Dame Church for 10 years, and a volunteer at the church's annual bazaar for many years. Mr. Heroux was a former committee member of Boy Scout Troop 1 of Notre Dame. He had served in the National Guard Mounted Command, 103rd Field Artillery, 43rd Division. Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Roger Heroux of Goleta, Calif., and Edmond Heroux of Pawtucket; a daughter, Lorraine Heroux of Central Falls; three brothers, Antonio and Leo Heroux, both of Central Falls, and Rodriques Heroux of Pawtucket; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 20 Ledge St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Notre Dame Church, Broad Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
