Gerard J. "Gerry" Desrosiers He was born in Lowell on Feb. 24, 1950, son of the late William O. and Bernadette D. (Carbonneau) Desrosiers. He was raised in Dracut, and attended Ste. Jeanne D'Arc Elementary School, and Dracut High School. Mr. Desrosiers was honorably discharged after his service in the Air Force Reserve. Prior to co-owning E & G Construction, Mr. Desrosiers was a licensed barber at Hanscom Field Air Force Base in Bedford during the early 1970s. He then was an apprentice at Proulx Electric. Mr. Desrosiers had worked for several area drywall companies since 1986, including Hentz Drywall of Billerica until his illness. He is survived by a son, Joseph G. Desrosiers of Hudson, N.H.; a stepdaughter, Christina Mehan of Lowell; a sister, Muial Rousseau of Epsom, N.H.; five brothers, William Desrosiers of Dracut, Roger Desrosiers and Armand Desrosiers, both of Lowell, Paul and Raymond Desrosiers, both of Tyngsboro; as well as many nieces and nephews.
