11/06/2004ESTHER DELIA CHOINIERE HIGHGATE CENTER, Vermont - Esther Delia Choiniere, 85, a lifelong resident of this community died early Friday morning, November 5, 2004, in the Northwestern Medical Center in Saint Albans City. Born in Saint Albans, May 25, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Louise (Raymond) Boudro. She graduated from Highgate High School and on, April 19, 1939, married Maurice Aime Choiniere who predeceased her on, November 27, 1993. She was a lifelong parishioner of Saint Louis Roman Catholic Parish and a member of the Ladies of Saint Anne. Esther leaves a daughter, Theresa Froehlich of Colchester; two sons, Richard (Choiniere) Sweeney and his wife Jeannette of Swanton and Gerald Choiniere and his wife Deborah of Highgate Center; eight grandchildren, four step grand- children, and eight great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Lois Sweeney of Winchester, Ontario Canada and a very devoted friend Nancy Flint and family of Highgate Center and several nieces and nephews including a very special niece, Florence Dexter and her husband Ralph of Saint Albans. She was predeceased by two brothers, Henry Boudro in 1989, John Boudro in 2001 and a son-inlaw, Al Froehlich in 2000. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, November 9, 2004, at 11 a.m. from Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church, Lamkin Street, Highgate Center. Esther's nephew, Father Raymond A. Giroux will be the celebrant and homilist. Interment will follow in the Choiniere family lot in Saint Louis Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton on Monday, November 8, 2004, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Gifts in Esther's memory may be made in the form of Masses or to Missisquoi Valley Rescue, P.O.
