Mary Giroux November 16, 2004 RANDOLPH - Mary Giroux, 67, died Nov. 13, 2004, at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph. She was born Sept. 21, 1937, in Rutland, the daughter of John and Kathryn (Ryan) Foley. She graduated from high school in Fair Haven in 1955 and nurse's training at Gifford Memorial Hospital in Randolph in 1958. She married Norman Giroux on June 30, 1962, in Fair Haven. He predeceased her. Mrs. Giroux was a registered nurse at Gifford Medical Center for 40 years, retiring as charge nurse in 2001. She was a member of Sts. Donatian and Rogatian Catholic Church in Randolph, and past member of the Catholic Daughters and the Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, cooking and reading. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Giroux of Randolph; three sons, Edward Giroux, James Giroux and David Giroux; two brothers, James Foley and John Foley of South Burlington; and four grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Sts. Donatian and Rogatian Catholic Church in Randolph. The Rev. John Milanese will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Randolph. Memorial contributions may be made to a fund to be established at the Sts. Donatian and Rogatian Catholic Church, South Pleasant Street, Randolph, 05060. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
