Published: 11/12/04 Robert W. Delisle Keeseville - Robert W. Delisle, 71, of Thompson Road, Keeseville, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at his home. He was born in Cohoes, July 25, 1933, the son of Paul and Gertrude (Scott) Delisle. Bob served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He retired from the Waterveliet Arsenal following 37 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Colony Elks Lodge for many years, more recently the Keeseville Elks Lodge 2072 and former member of the Cohoes Rod and Gun Club. Robert was a lifelong friend and hunting and fishing partner to Robert R. Pelton, whom he is survived by along with his wife, Shirley Pelton of Keeseville; their children, Danny and Melissa Pelton of Albany, Gary and Elizabeth Pelton of Lewiston and Barbara Digman of Plattsburgh; their children, Jason Reddecliff, Jennifer Digman and Samantha and Bridget Pelton; his extended family at McLean's Dairy Bar in Keeseville; and his very special dog of seven years, Cookie. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville. Members of the Keeseville Elks Lodge 2072 will meet at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville for a service at 3:30 p.m. with prayers to follow officiated by Rev. Michael Tetrault. Donations in his memory may be made to the Keeseville Elks Lodge 2072.
