Rachel C. Pelletier, ALLENSTOWN - Retired textile worker, member of Ladies of St. Anne November 03. 2004 9:49AM A LLENSTOWN -- Rachel C. (Duclos) Pelletier, 87, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at Pleasant View Center in Concord. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. at Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke. A prayer service will be held by members of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Rosebush Society at 6:30 p.m. during calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church. The Rev. Donald Clinton, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Allenstown. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. ~~~ The daughter of Ovila and Clementine (Duguay) Duclos, Mrs. Pelletier was born on July 10, 1917, in Allenstown. She was a lifelong resident of the Allenstown-Pembroke area. She was a retired textile worker, having been employed as an inspector for Manchester Knitting Mills. She had also worked for Emerson Lounge in Suncook. A communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Mrs. Pelletier was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality and the St. Theresa Rosebush Society. She also very much enjoyed crocheting and bingo. She was the widow of Charles E. Pelletier, who died in 1980, and is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Norman Chaput of Allenstown; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Meli Pelletier of Manteca, Calif.; three grandchildren and their spouses, David and Diane Chaput of Allenstown, Karen and Robert Fletcher of Nashua, and Robert Jr. and Shari Pelletier of Salida, Calif.; 10 great-grandchildren, Kristine, Timothy, Michael, Sam, Robert Paul, Brendan, Ryan, Sarah, Scott, and Ken; a sister, Rita Coulombe of Allenstown; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Lionel Duclos, in 1996.
