Obituaries Kenneth A. Blanchard November 16, 2004 STOCKBRIDGE - Kenneth A. Blanchard, 94, died Nov. 15, 2004, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. He was born Feb. 13, 1910, in Stockbridge, the son of Bert and Ida (Adams) Blanchard. He attended Stony Brook School. He married Amie Purinton on Oct. 21, 1939, in Bethel. She died in 1998. Mr. Blanchard was a farmer, log truck driver and carpenter. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in Royalton. He enjoyed beekeeping, fishing and reading. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Blanchard of Umatilla, Fla.; two daughters, Alice Whitney of Stockbridge and Rose Vanderhoof of Umatilla, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-granddaughters. He was predeceased by three brothers, Fred, George and Hector; and two sisters, Hester and Clara. The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Royalton. A private burial will take place in Ranney Cemetery in Stockbridge. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
