Martha E. Aust, 98, of 89 Greenwood St., Lake Placid, died Nov. 8, 2004, at Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid, where she had been a resident since October. She was born in Dickenson Center on Aug. 24, 1906, the daughter of Olin W. and Hattie S. (Besau) Bean. Calling hours will be held at the Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid on Thursday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Peter Francis. Cremation will follow. Burial will be held at a later date at North Elba Cemetery
