CECILE R. HENDERSON - Cumberland 01:00 AM EST on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 CECILE R. HENDERSON, 82, of Bear Hill Village, and formerly of Mendon Road, a retired nurse's aide, died yesterday at Oakland Grove Health Care Center, in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late John R. Henderson. Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Joseph and Hermine (Girard) Asselin, she had lived in Cumberland for 17 years. Mrs. Henderson had been a nurse's aide at the former Cartie's Health Center, in Central Falls, for many years before retiring in 1980. She leaves a daughter, Patricia Botelho of The Villages, Fla.; two sons, John T. Henderson of Glocester and Richard Henderson of Cumberland; a sister, Bernadette Choiniere of Woonsocket; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was a sister of the late Jeanette Morrison and Hermas and Marcel Asselin. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Road. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
